Hosting Michael Vaughan-led England in the 4th Test, Lara tormented the English bowlers with his marathon knock to put the Windies in the driving seat. On 12th April 2004, Brian Lara etched his name in the history books once again as the Windies legend become the first batsman to register a score of 400 in the longest and oldest format of the game. ![]() Lara's iconic knock still stands as the highest individual score in Test cricket.
